One Bedroom apartment

This apartment is on the top floor of a residential building currently under construction in Mauritius. We have worked with the client on designing this eco-friendly affordable rental apartment for business travelers to Mauritius. Heat gain is minimized and daylighting is optimized based on rules of thumb. The design is then ran through multiple analyses until we achieve net zero energy. This design also utilizes smart blinds to automatically optimize the glare, daylight, and resident comfort throughout the day in the tropical climate of Mauritius.
